Google's Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash makes longer, cheaper videos
Google's new video model makes clips up to 15 seconds, edits them by chat and costs 30% less for developers. It now powers our top video pick.
Google released Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash on 2026-11-05. Clips can now run up to 15 seconds, up from 10, with more natural dialogue and clearer lip sync. You can change a finished clip by chatting, for example a new background or different lighting, without making it again. For developers the price fell 30%, to $0.07 per second of 720p video. It is in Google Flow now and is rolling out in the Gemini app for AI Ultra subscribers.
In Flow everyone gets 50 free credits a day, about 16 seconds of 720p video. Free clips stop at 10 seconds; 15-second clips need AI Plus, Pro or Ultra. Flow retires Veo 3.1 Fast, Veo 3.1 Quality and Omni Flash 1.1 on 2026-12-05.
Google Flow is now our best and best free pick in AI video generators. AI Plus at $4.99 a month gives about 66 seconds of video.
