Meshy Edit changes one part of a 3D model
Meshy now lets you select part of a 3D model and change it with one sentence, so you stop regenerating the whole thing.
Meshy launched Meshy Edit on 16 October 2026. You select part of a model with a lasso or brush, describe the change in one sentence, and get a new version in about a minute. Only the selected part changes, and the original stays in your library. Each edit costs 20 credits, and a failed edit is refunded.
It is open to every registered user, not only paying plans. It works on models made with Meshy 6 or Meshy 7.1 up to Ultra 2K. Ultra 4K, low-poly, uploaded, rigged and animated models are not supported yet. An API is expected in early December.
Fixing one bad detail no longer means making the whole model again. Meshy stays our top pick for 3D model generators.
