Gemini app gets Google's Lyria 3.5 music model
Google's Lyria 3.5 music model is now in the Gemini app, with short or long tracks, genre picks and vocal or instrumental styles.
Google brought Lyria 3.5 to the Gemini app on web and phones on 4 September 2026. You can choose short or long tracks, start from templates, pick a genre and choose vocals or instrumental. Google says the songs follow prompts more closely and the singing sounds more natural. Lyria 3.5 is also in Flow Music and Google AI Studio, and developers pay $0.08 per song.
You can make a song by asking Gemini, without a separate music app or account.
